    Idea

“This innovation intends to establish one official VA email communication system, that is, Microsoft Outlook ® with PKI encryption. The innovation team recommends that VistA messaging be disabled or configured to automatically forward end-user’s VistA messages to their VA Microsoft Outlook email account. By doing this, employees will not need to check messages in two separate accounts, send or receive duplicate messages, or manipulate two very different email communication systems.

The expected impact/outcome of this innovation is to establish one official VA email communication system resulting in operational efficiencies and cost reductions."
